So a few weeks have passed and we’re still in a pandemic… but even if we weren’t, where I’m from, it’s -40°C outside right now. Nobody’s outside fam and because nobody’s outside, I had time to make another playlist. Last week’s post was lil heavy so to lighten the mood a bit, I thought I’d make a playlist for something that people love to debate in February. Valentine’s Day. I bet you thought I was going to bring up something controversial here. Nah fam, whether you debate celebrating it or not, you end up talking about it every year.
With Valentine’s Day, we always think of the same “holiday” songs, the same love ballads and the same synchronized dances done by R&B groups to showcase love. Although those songs are great, I wanted to put together what I think mixes of a bunch of dope b-side love songs with a few bangers that I couldn’t leave out.
